I love both these items of clothing! The military dress is from Urban Outfitters, I’d been waiting for it to go in the sale since I saw it on my Liverpool visit. I’d been searching for a dress like this for quite a while so I’m glad I’ve managed to find one.

The blazer is from my local antiques centre and cost £15, it’s great for summer because it’s quite a lightweight fabric so is easy to to carry round if out and about. I love it because of it’s colour, pattern and style.

York College held its 2010 fashion show at York racecourse this week to show off its student’s end of year collections. There were some great pieces of work with loads of different inspirations and projects they had been working on.  The college works in conjunction with Marks and Spencer and Noa Noa, and the students presented some really beautiful pieces. There was a great 50’s style polka dot collection and a military inspired collection.

Pink striped and spotted vintage shirt

Jack Wills Blazer

My Jack Wills blazer is probably the most expensive thing I own, but I love it and I see it as an investment piece, because it goes with everything and I know it’ll last a long time!! Plus it has amazing lining, polka dot and pink and blue stripes, sounds weird, but trust me amazing!!

Goes with my recent vintage find, a pink and black polka dot striped shirt. It’s a bit bold but I think it looks pretty cool, and was only £10!
