A new vintage shop!!

A new vintage shop ‘The House Of Avalon’ opened in York last month, not only does it contain a roomful of beautiful vintage garments and accessories but the back room also contains a little coffee shop! (Complete with cupcakes!)
They stock an impressive amount of beautiful dresses and garments, all reasonably priced and all of excellent quality. They also offer hairstyle and make up advice to complete your vintage look.
Another great thing about the House of Avalon is that it is a social enterprise project by The Avalon Group, which is a northern based charity working with adults who need support to live the life they choose, including people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and older adults.

I bought a little cropped jacket with three quarter length sleeves, pale blue in colour with flocked white flowers. The buttons are pearl effect with little sparkly gems encrusted in the middle of them. It was all wrapped up beautifully in tissue and raffia.
