I spent an amazing day in the heart of Bronte country- travelling by steam train, browsing round vintage shops and walking up very steap hills!
The majority of the day was spent in Haworth arriving at lunchtime and starting the day in a lovely little art cafe where not only did they serve great food, you could also paint up your own piece of pottery.
Second stop of the day, oh la la vintage – the first of the vintage shops – features a painted old bike outside and two floors of vintage goodies, which were great to rummage through. Further on up the hill is The Rose and Co Apothecary – which is like a museum – absolutely amazing to see all the big containers of powdered milk bath, vintage perfumes and big glass jars of sweets. Theres three more vintage shops, as you follow the bunting down the hill, Notorious Vintage, Poison Ivy Vintage and The Sue Ryder charity shop which has a dedicated vintage floor upstairs.
